School News: Sing2G7 Launches

We are delighted to share news about an exciting new Children's outreach project, Sing2G7, featuring a song written by Sir Tim Rice.

The Sing2G7 project is led by Truro Cathedral in patnership with Truro School, the Diocese of Truro, Cornwall Music Services Trust, Cornwall Council and in collaboration with Y7, the Youth Summit which precedes and feeds into G7.

We are excited to be looking for two individuals to join the Truro School Governing Body. Old Truronians are undoubtedly best placed to understand the ethos and values of the School. Truro School Boy Choristers'
We hope you enjoy this video of the Boy Choristers' lockdown project, 'A Million Dreams' from 'The Greatest Showman' which they learnt during lockdown through their online rehearsals and recorded at home. The Boy Choristers range in age from 8-13 and are all educated at Truro School Prep and Truro School Senior.

 HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

On 9 April 2021 Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh passed away at the grand age of 99. One of his most notable initiatives was setting up the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE), which launched in 1956, and over six decades later sees close to 300,000 14-24-year-olds complete an Award every year.
